i chose alor star workshop as it's the nearest to jitra. and i chose to write an essay about myself in other words an autobiography in less than 1000words, i wrote 987 FYI.
i'm gonna reveal my submission after the deadline (20th Feb), and here's some sneak peek
From what I have heard, my juniors especially the lower form students called me literature maniac for frequently contributing articles to the School Yearly Magazine and Chinese Society Magazine, writing extremely long essays especially for story-typed essay (I wrote 7 ½ and 8 ½ pages for English trial and SPM paper respectively) and also participating in various story writing or essay writing competitions in Chinese, English and Malay. I think that “unique” nickname started to spread like wildfire after I handed a 20-page Chinese short novel for a school level novel writing competition organized by the Chinese Society.
I truly hope that I will be accepted to join the BRATs programme as I have a never-fading enthusiasm for writing and it has been my dream to be joining mass media workforce in future.
i watched mr and mrs incredible by louis koo and sandra ng and it's hilarious. plus, before CNY i watched this movie Homecoming, starring Ah Niu(Malaysian artiste slash director), jack neo and some singapore artistes. it's deeply moving, but the sense of humour is preserved well.
:)
BTW i'm gonna go for an Edu Fair at PISA, Penang organized by The Star. hope to get more infos about masscomm.
